2024 Fireworks Spectacular at in Wake Forest

Location: Heritage High School, 1150 Forestville Road

 

On-Site Spectators

Residents are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the festivities. Designated viewing areas include the Husky Stadium football field and the home-side stadium bleachers. Please note that no tents, shade structures, or stakes are allowed.

Entertainment Lineup

Tyson Brothers
Performance Time: 6:00 pm
About the Band: The Tyson Brothers have been performing since 2016 and are known for their energetic live shows. The band includes Tristan and Brooks Tyson, Holten Barnwell, John Fleischer, and Robert Horne.

Band of Oz
Performance Time: Just after 7:00 pm
About the Band: A renowned beach music band formed in 1967, the Band of Oz is a Beach Music Hall of Fame inductee. They perform over 200 shows annually with a dynamic eight-member group featuring a full horn section.

Fireworks Show
The highlight of the evening will be the spectacular fireworks display starting at 9:30 pm. Expect a bigger and better show than ever before, promising to be a thrilling end to an unforgettable evening.

Event Map

An event map will be available to help you find important points of interest, including parking and restrooms. If using greenways to access Husky Stadium, bring a flashlight or use your phone to light the way back home.

Food Trucks: The Flat Drum, Ultimate Egg Rolls, Lawrence & Perry Barbeque, Copperheads Burgers, Empanadas RD, Tropical Delights, LLC, Rescue Dogs & Catering, GypZea Maize Kettle Corn, Manzie’s Icees, Kono Pizza, Charlies Kabob Grill on Wheels, Mr. Guac’s Tacos, LLC, Kona Ice of Raleigh, The Tasty Turkey-Que, Lumpy’s, and Bobastic
Junior Cadets: Selling water for $1 (cash only)
Note: Picnic baskets and coolers are allowed, but alcoholic beverages and glass are strictly prohibited. Families can tailgate in the parking lot, but no alcohol is allowed on the school campus.

Alcoholic beverages, smoking, glass, and pets
Bicycles, skateboards, and scooters inside the stadium
Chairs or blankets on the stadium track
Tents, shade structures, or stakes in viewing areas
Soliciting and unapproved vendors
Personal fireworks, including sparklers, poppers, ground fireworks, etc.
 

Know Before You Go

Gates open at 5:30 pm
Tyson Brothers performance at 6:00 pm
Band of Oz performance just after 7:00 pm
Fireworks at 9:30 pm
No alcohol, smoking, glass, or pets allowed
Lawn chairs and blankets in designated areas only
No bicycles inside the stadium
Post-fireworks traffic will clear before vehicles can enter
Sensory Sensitivities
Sensory support items, such as noise-canceling headphones and weighted blankets, will be available at the Wake Forest Information Tent. A photo ID is required for check-out and return.
 

Parking

Regular and accessible parking is available at Heritage High, Middle, and Elementary Schools, as well as Hope Lutheran Church.
Carpooling is encouraged due to limited parking
No parking along Forestville Road or Foundation Drive
Note: Check signage in parking lots to ensure they are public and not private business lots.

Motorists
Expect delays near Heritage High School, especially on Rogers Road, Forestville Road, and Heritage Lake Road. Non-attendees should avoid the area.

Check the Town website, Facebook page, or Town of Wake Forest app for any schedule changes due to inclement weather.
