Halloween Events Happening in the Wake Forest Area This Weekend 

Wake Forest is abuzz with Halloween events this weekend! The town will be packed with plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. Here’s a rundown of what’s happening in and around Wake Forest: 

October 28: 2022 Halloween Boo Bash
Visit the Town of Wake Forest’s annual Halloween Boo Bash, a free family-oriented festival for children ages 12 and younger. This year’s festivities will include balloon animals, the haunted obstacle course (with some spooky surprises), as well as other ghostly games that are sure not to be boring! Stop by the pumpkin patch on your way and pick out your free pumpkin – while supplies last. Costumes encouraged but not required!

October 29: Rolesville Fall FunFest
Visit with over 100 vendors and get a head start on holiday shopping while supporting local businesses, artists and crafters. Enjoy lunch from one of the many food trucks that will be in attendance. Kids will enjoy the bounce house, giant twister, 15′ slide, corn hole, giant jenga, giant connect 4, and more! Kids costume contest, per age group: 0-3, 4-6, & 7-10 – so come dressed to impress!

October 27 – 29: Spirits of Wake Forest Ghost Walk
Enjoy an evening out and about as you explore some of the eerie stories the buildings and streets of Wake Forest have to tell. From wonderful storytellers of Forest Moon Theater, Spirits of Wake Forest is now in it’s third year of sharing stories of the community where we live, work and play. You’ll learn about the spirits that make up a small piece of our town’s haunted history. 

October 29: Halloween Party at Lonerider Wake Forest
Eat, drink and be scary! Join us for a night of Halloween fun with prizes for the best costumes plus special beer and cocktails.

Until October 28: Hill Ridge Farms
Visiting Hill Ridge Farms in Youngsville during fall is a tradition to many! They are open Wednesday-Friday from 9:30am – 6:30pm. Closed on Monday & Tuesday. Make some great fall memories! No reservations needed. Everyone gets a FREE PUMPKIN with admission. Hayride, giant jumping pillow, hay jump, jump pad, colorful maze, barrel swings, 80 ft mountain slide, corn house, feed the barnyard animals and more. Add on even more fun like train rides, gemstone panning and more!
