Return of Friday Night on White!
NEXT WEEK! Mark your calendars everyone because the Town of Wake Forest is back with one of their most popular events known as Friday Night on White! Friday Night on White is a once a month event held on White Street in downtown Wake Forest.This event consists of live music, food trucks, adult beverages, and more! Check out what’s happening at this year’s Friday Night on White events!
Each monthly event runs from 6:00-9:00 with a different band headlining the event each month. April 8th is the kickoff for this year’s Friday Night on White events where you can watch the Magic Pipers live! The other dates and bands are as follows:
- May 13th : Sleeping Booty Band
- June 10th : The Soul Psychedelique Orchestra
- July 15th : Love Tribe
- August 12th : The Brickhouse Band
- September 9th : Crush
While enjoying the live performances, you can also enjoy some of the local restaurants in downtown Wake Forest as well as local food trucks! Some food trucks to look out for are Cousins Maine Lobster, Kona Ice, Hale Yeah Kitchen, Lumpy’s Ice Cream, The Naked Smokehouse, and more! No outside alcohol or coolers are allowed but there will be beer and wine for sale in the festivities area.
Parking is available in and around downtown on side streets and at the College of Southeastern. Make sure you read all the signage around downtown Wake Forest so you are not parking in a private lot.
Make sure you bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit down and relax! The town blocks of White Street for participants to gather all in one place to enjoy the sights and sounds of Friday Night on White! Visit here to learn more about the event!
