July Events Happening in Wake Forest
With North Carolina continuing to open back up, summertime events slowly begin to start up! Whether you’re going out to enjoy some live entertainment or participating in the community’s holiday festivities, there’s bound to be something you can enjoy. Check out some of these July events in Wake Forest!
Saturday July 3rd, you can join the Wake Forest community at Heritage High School, located at 1150 Forestville Road for the spectacular fireworks show! Gates open at 7:30 and the fireworks start at 9:30! All are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on or you can lounge around on the school’s bleachers!
The Wake Forest Children’s parade will be taking place Sunday, July 4th at 1:30. The parade will begin at the intersection of West Juniper Avenue and North Main Street. Bring your child with their bike or wagon decked out in the most festive 4th of July decorations you can find!
Chill out on Unwined on White’s rooftop on July 9th and enjoy the live music by local band known as 2Digh4! Unwined on White is located at 153 S White Street and the show runs from 7:00-9:00. You can also visit unwined on white Saturday july 31st to enjoy live music by Steve Holcomb!
Have a laugh at the Wake Forest Cotton Company at their comedy night! From 7:00-8:30, you can enjoy the entertainment from headliner Jared Kassebaum for $25 a ticket! You must pre-order your ticket online! Wine and beer will be available for purchase. You can bring outside food in, but outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
On July 30th you can visit the Magnolia Roots Lounge, located at 219 South White Street, to enjoy a live performance by country artist Carly Burruss! This artist has shared the stage with big-name artists such as Keith Urban, Ruston Kelly, and Kasey Chambers. The show runs from 7:00-9:00 and you can purchase your ticket online for only $15! The Magnolia Roots lounge holds live performances multiple times a month! You can visit this website for all July dates!
