Small Business Saturday – Support Small in Wake Forest!

Small Business Saturday is a national event that was founded by American Express in 2010. The primary goal is to start off the season of holiday shopping by supporting small local businesses in your community. This helps boost your local communities economy and offers a fun new way to holiday shop and see what your town has to offer! The Town of Wake Forest is crawling with small local businesses and this year you have the ability to shop local this holiday season at the Town of Wake Forest Small Business Saturday event!

This Saturday, November 28th starting at 10 am, you can experience a taste of Wake Forest by visiting Wake Forest Downtown and experience the local business that Wake Forest has to offer at the Small Business Saturday event. It is important to support local businesses because not only are you supporting members of your community, but you are also giving back into the community and helping your community flourish. 

When you receive services and products from local businesses, it can feel a little more personal and when you support these small local businesses, you know where your money is going and you can continue to go back to these businesses to see them and help them grow. Buying goods from local businesses, especially during the holiday season, is a fun way to find unique gifts that won’t see anywhere else. Small Business Saturday is the perfect place to see what Wake Forest Businesses have to offer and you don’t have to worry about traveling from store location to store location to see them because they will all be in Downtown Wake Forest this Saturday!

Small Businesses Saturday in Wake Forest is hosted by the Town of Wake Forest, Wake Forest Downtown, Cornerstone Holistic Institute, Lumpy’s Ice Cream, The Lemon Tree Cafe, White Street Brewing, Duvall & Co, Arrow Tree Boutique, Sugar Magnolia Cafe, Southern Suds and Gifts, and Unwined on White. These businesses have been a part of the Wake Forest Community for years and always work to serve and support members of the community.

The Lemon Tree, White Street Brewing, Sugar Magnolia, Lumpy’s Ice Cream, and Unwined have been treating the Wake Forest community for years to delicious food, ice cream, and a friendly atmosphere to enjoy a meal with family and friends. Southern Suds and Gifts, Arrowtree Boutique, and Duvall & Co, deliver amazing products such as fashionable clothing, gorgeous custom furniture, and handcrafted art and products. 

These businesses will be featured throughout Small Business Saturday as well as many other local Wake Forest businesses such as 4th tree boutique, a hand sewn women’s clothing store! Businesses like this have been representing Wake Forest for years. 4th tree boutique started out as a company to empower and uplift at the gym and slowly transformed into a clothing store for women offering all types of seasonal clothes. 

There are so many wonderful small businesses in Wake Forest to support during the holiday season!
