Some of your favorite summer activities may include catching fireflies, roasting marshmallows, riding bikes, and collecting seashells at the beach. Wake Forest hopes that you will also add a new favorite tradition together under the stars for their Family Movie Nights. Grab some blankets or chairs and get ready to relax while the big screen glows at E. Carroll Joyner Park!

A wholesome town-organized movie series will occur one Saturday each month (from May through August), outdoors beginning at 8:30 PM. Each movie also coincides with a fun pre-show activity at 7:15 PM. Plan to arrive early, as seating may be limited.

Pre-show activity…Become an Incredible!
Bring a t-shirt from home and we’ll add on an iron on Incredibles decal and make masks to become part of the Incredibles team.

6/22…Wreck It Ralph–Ralph Breaks the Internet
Pre-show activity…Game On!
Get your Game on in a mobile video game truck with the latest game titles and video consoles. We’ll also have Giant “Jenga”, Bean Bag Toss, and Giant Connect 4

7/27…Mulan
Pre-show activity…Culture and Crafts
Have your name written in Chinese characters, make Chinese lanterns and enjoy some games.

8/10…Bumblebee
Pre-show activity…More than Meets the Eye
Bumblebee and Optimus Prime will drop by and kids and families will have the opportunity to meet and take pictures with the transformers.

Other details:
These events are free and open to the public.
Blankets/chairs, flashlights, bug spray, and an umbrella are suggested.
Food vendors will be on site selling snacks and drinks.
In case of inclement weather, movies may be relocated to Flaherty Park Community Center.
Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome.
Smoking and alcohol are prohibited.
