Town of Wake Forest Spring Events 2023
There’s no time the present to get all of the fun Wake Forest, North Carolina events on your calendar! This town loves spring! And with the temps we’ve already had this year, I think we are all eager for longer days and additional outdoor fun!
All of these events listed are available because of the Town of Wake Forest and partnership with local businesses. I am personally honored to be a proud and supporing sponsor for some of these events. Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 1; 10 am-Noon
E. Carroll Joyner Park, 701 Harris Road
The 2023 annual Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Saturday, April 1. The egg hunt will take place at E. Carroll Joyner Park, 701 Harris Road with over 10,000 easter eggs, as well as Easter-themed arts, crafts and games! There will even be a free raffle.
Friday Night on White
Begins Friday, April 14; 6 pm
South White Street, Downtown Wake Forest
The much anticipated crowd pleaser, Friday Night on White, returns to South White Street in downtown Wake Forest on Friday, April 14. MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Per the town website, “FNOW will continue on the second Friday of each month (except July) through September beginning at 6 p.m.”
Forest Fest
Saturday, April 15; 9 am-2 pm
Downtown Wake Forest
Forest Fest will be back in Downtown Wake Forest on Saturday, April 15th on Festival Street (Owen Avenue).
This fun event features live entertainment, a tree seedling giveaway, historic walking tours, game area, as well as food and ice cream trucks!
Six Sundays in Spring
April 30-June 4; 5:30-7:30 pm
E. Carroll Joyner Park, 701 Harris Road
Grab your picnic and a blanket, and cozy up for great music at E. Carroll Joyner Park in Wake Forest! Per the Town’s website: “The 2023 Six Sundays in Spring concert series will take place on consecutive Sundays from April 30 through June 4. Sponsored by Wake Forest ARTS, these free concerts get underway at 5:30 p.m.”
Meet in the Street
Saturday, May 6; 10 am-4 pm
Downtown Wake Forest
Come rain or shine! The 41st annual Meet in the Street, powered by Ting and coordinated by the Wake Forest Area Chamber, is scheduled for Saturday, May 6, 2022 from 10 am-4 pm in downtown Wake Forest.
More than 100 artisan booths will be featuring their handmade items! Come hungry! Dozens of food trucks will be on hand for this fun and exciting annual event. Live music throughout the day, activities for kids, and MUCH more.
