July Events in the Triangle

The triangle area is kicking off summer with some pretty spectacular events, shows and Independence Day celebrations! Check out some of these exciting activities happening in the month of July!

Koka Booth Amphitheater
Located in Cary, the Koka Booth Amphitheater is home to many exciting music events, screening and shows happening each month! Check out some of the exciting events happening at KBA in July!

Foodie Festival
On Saturday, July 16th from 12:00-5:00, you can join Big Boss Brewing Company located at 1249 Wicker Drive in Raleigh for live music, food vendors, and specialty craft foods! There will be a wide variety of food vendors including items such as baked goods, sauces, onsite food, drinks and MORE!

 

Wake Forest 4th of July
This year will be the 49th annual Wake Forest 4th of July fireworks and independence day celebrations! 

July 3rd will be the night that the town’s sky is lit up with the most beautiful fireworks display. The show will be taking place at Heritage High School and there is no cost for admission. Gates open at 5:30 and starting at 6:15 a live music performance by The Band of Oz will begin. Concessions are back this year and will be serving hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, and lots of special desert trucks will be there serving the Town of Wake Forest during this special event! 

Bleachers will be open for the guests to sit, but attendees are welcome to bring their own blankets in chairs in the event the bleachers fill up. The firework show will begin at 9:30pm. 

The next day, the annual 4th of July children’s parade will be held in the historic district of Wake Forest. The lineup will begin at 10:00am at the intersection of West Juniper and North Main Street and the parade will start at 10:30am. This is a walking parade and no registration is required. Your child can bring their own bikes and wagon decorated in their best 4th of July decorations! 

 

Rolesville 4th of July
The Town of Rolesville is back with their very own annual Independence Day celebrations! Taking place at Redford Place Park starting at 5:00, you can join the town for live music, family crafts, delicious food trucks, yard games, inflatables, an incredible fireworks display, and so much MORE! 

All the exciting activities and events will be taking place from 5:00-9:00. Food trucks to lookout for include Charlie’s Kabob, Tacos Costa Grande, JAM Ice cream, and more! 

The fireworks show will begin at 9:15!

 

2022 Enofest
A very exciting Independence Day celebration is taking place at West Point on the Eno in Durham City Park at 5101 North Roxboro Road on July 2nd and July 4th from 10:00am-6:00pm! Hang out with your friends and family on the riverbank listening to live music, enjoying the weather, eating great food, and more! Tickets are limited and vary based on age. 

 

Wake Forest Friday Night on White
Friday Night on White is still happening!! The July event will be taking place Friday, July 15th featuring live music from the Love Tribe, a party band playing music from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s of all genres! 

The concert will begin at 6:00 and end at 9:00. All activities are taking place all down White Street in downtown Wake Forest. Attendees should bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Coolers and alcohol are prohibited, but there will be alcohol sales happening until 8:50pm.
