Return of Friday Night on White in Wake Forest, North Carolina

Mark your calendars!! After a year-long hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Friday Night on White is making a return just this once for the 2021 summer season! You and your loved ones can enjoy all the local festivities and live music that this downtown Wake Forest event has to offer.

On September 10th, from 6:00-9:00, you can hangout with the community in downtown Wake Forest listening to live music by the popular party band ‘Crush’ and enjoying food and festivities hosted by local businesses. You’ll be able to visit local establishments such as Norse Brewing Company, White Street Brewing, The Burger Shop, Bodegas Tapas Wine and Rum, Lumpy’s Ice Cream, and more!!

Beer and wine will be available for purchase with the proper identification! To speed up the wait time for ordering they ask that you know your order before approaching one of the three servers that are there to help you.

Parking is available along the side streets of downtown Wake Forest and the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Parking is also FREE!! Public lots are clearly marked. Make sure you are looking out for the signs so you are not parking in private lots intended for business patrons only. If you are planning on taking an Uber or Lyft to the event, the Town of Wake Forest recommends you set your address to the Wake Forest Town Hall, 301 S. Brooks Street, as the designated drop-off and pick-up location. This will be more convenient for you to get to and from Friday Night on White since the streets are closed from 1:30pm-11:30pm!

You may bring chairs and a blanket to sit in the street and enjoy the festivities. DO NOT put your blanket or chairs on the sidewalk. The sidewalk is to remain clear for pedestrians to walk. Coolers and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.
