Wake Forest Events Happening In June
June is right around the corner and the town of Wake Forest and local businesses have been working to ensure that June will be filled with fun! Check out some of these Wake Forest events happening this June!
You’ve heard of wine tasting…but have you ever heard of coffee cupping? Join Well-Bean Coffee Roaster at 4154 Shearon Farms Road for a roasters tour and a tasting of their signature blends! There are multiple dates but you can join them this June 3rd and the 17th from 12:00pm-1:00pm!
Mark your calendars! On June 16th from 6:00-8:00, head over to the Norse Brewing Company located in downtown Wake Forest at 203 Brooks Street to grab a drink and support 9 local businesses. Businesses such as The Terracotta Gal, Windblown Jewelry, Simply Auras and others will be there! This is a monthly event so stay tuned for the following months!
On Friday June 18th, from 7:00-8:30 you can visit the Wake Forest Cotton Company at 306 South White Street for a locally-produced stand-up comedy show! This event is only $25 a ticket for 70 minutes of belly clutching laughter! Drinks will be sold and outside food is allowed.
Kick off summer with friends at one of Wake Forest’s best boutiques! Allison Caudle Abbott of Southern Lux Living is hosting a Sip and Shop on June 15th from 6-8pm at LILY MAES, located on the corner of Rogers Road and South Main Street.
Magnolia Roots Music Lounge is producing many nights filled with performances by featured artists. In June you can see artists such as Cory Branan Caleb Caudle perform live! Prices for tickets and times may vary by the artist you are wanting to see.
Intro to Stand Up Paddle Boarding
Are you itching to try something new? Spend some time on the water learning how to stand up paddle board! This is a free event that will be taking place over the summer at Falls Lake State Recreation Area located at 13304 Creedmoor Road in Wake Forest! There are multiple dates throughout the summer and while the event is free, you are encouraged to register beforehand! All equipment needed for this activity will already be provided!

Shop from approximately 40 creative vendors in Downtown Wake Forest and support local. This event is on Saturday, June 5th from 10am – 5pm.
