The fall months offer up the perfect chance to get outdoors and participate in some really great fall activities. Just remember, the weather is getting colder, so you will want to bundle up.

Seeing the leaves changing colors on the trees is something that people of all ages can enjoy. The beauty it presents is just astounding. Not only that, but while you are on your nature walk, your family can collect things like fallen leaves and pinecones to create beautiful art with, later.

Go on a Fall Picnic
As long as the weather permits, a fall picnic can be a fantastic way to enjoy a day with your family. Pack an amazing and comforting picnic to take with you to one of the great local parks we have in the Wake Forest and Raleigh area. Just make sure to use insulated containers to keep your food and warm, and do not forget the got apple cider.

Visit a Fall Fair or Festival
Fall fairs and festivals are so much fun to attend with your family. Enjoy some rides, some candy apples and maybe even enter in a pie eating contest. Our Southern Lux Living Fall Festival is THIS WEEKEND {Saturday, October 12th from 10am – Noon at Macon Gardens at 2704 Burlington Mills Rd, Wake Forest, NC} and the NC State Fair starts on October 17 and runs for 10 days!!

Jump in Puddles
Rainy day? No problem. Have your family get dressed up in their rain attire and go jump in puddles and dance in the rain. There is no reason to seclude yourself indoors.
